The Bell at Iden
Set in Iden, just 2 miles from Rye The Bell at Iden is the perfect place to relax with a pint, dine in our restaurant or relax in our secluded Bed and Breakfast rooms. Local legend has it, that the original building was used as accommodation for the monks that built Iden church. It is also thought that there is a tunnel between the pub cellar and the church, although this has not been discovered, we do keep our eye out for the vicar turning up in the cellar! Today, we serve homemade food, real ales, continental lagers, and have a superb wine list. We welcome both well behaved children & dogs. Enjoy great food in comfortable and relaxed surroundings, or stay in one of our spacious bed and breakfast rooms. We have wonderful beer gardens for enjoying the summer days, and a warm cosy snug with a wood burning fire for the winter nights. The Bell at Iden features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant and you play pool and darts in the bar. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Every room comes with a private bathroom.
